Early beta, still being tested. This is an interest list, not an instant TestFlight download. We'll email confirmed subscribers when invitations are ready. Glasses connection reliability is a priority; the iPhone app does not yet match every Android feature.

WHAT WE'RE WORKING ON

Useful things to test.

Ask & look

Ask by voice or text, hear a reply, and add a photo from compatible glasses.

Translate & take notes

Try text and speech translation, photographed text, and notes you can save and share.

Live Look

Test periodic descriptions with the app open. Tell us where setup or reconnecting gets in the way.

Before you join.

  • An iPhone running iOS 17.2 or later for the current build.
  • For glasses features: compatible Meta glasses paired in Meta AI, plus Developer Mode and camera permission. Hardware compatibility still needs testing.
  • Your own supported AI provider API key. API usage may cost money separately; a ChatGPT or Claude consumer subscription is not API credit.
  • Time to report what worked, what failed and how to reproduce it. Never include API keys in feedback.

Video recording, livestreaming, wake-word activation and the Android voice keyboard are not included in the current iPhone build. AI descriptions can be wrong and must not be relied on for safe navigation.

A few straight answers.

Is beta signup a paid membership?

No. The iPhone interest list is free and separate from Android membership. Signing up does not create a subscription or promise a lifetime unlock. We'll explain any future iPhone pricing before asking anyone to pay.

When will I get a TestFlight invite?

When a build is ready for external testing and Apple requirements are complete. There is no guaranteed date or place. We'll use this list to share availability and testing instructions.

Can I use it without glasses?

The current build includes phone-based text and voice questions, translation and notes. Glasses-specific features need compatible hardware. You can join for updates even if you don't own glasses yet.

Who makes Sightline?

Cameron at Tech Standpoint. We also publish smart-glasses coverage, so that connection is worth making clear. Sightline is independent and is not affiliated with Meta, Ray-Ban or the AI providers.
